Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about NeuroFit Health Solutions

Q: Do you accept insurance?

A: Functional medicine and tissue regenerating technologies are currently not included in insurance coverage. Consequently, we cannot submit claims to insurance, and reimbursement from your insurance company won't be feasible. However, if you possess an HSA card, it may be utilized to cover some costs. To minimize expenses, we focus on conducting only the essential lab tests and recommending a limited number of targeted supplements and treatments at any given time.

Q: What conditions do you specialize in?

A: We collaborate with a diverse range of clients, recognizing that the root cause of most diseases often stems from an accumulation of toxins and infections. Our focus primarily revolves around addressing conditions stemming from multiple concussions, defending against Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE), and helping athletes stay in the game. Optimal performance and longevity are impossible when mold exposure, parasites, co-infections, environmental toxins, fatigue, thyroid dysfunction, hormonal imbalances, autoimmune disorders, and chronic illnesses are holding you back.

Q: Do you prescribe pharmaceuticals as part of your protocols?

A: No, we do not. Our approach relies heavily on natural nutraceuticals, including herbal support, vitamins, and minerals, along with structural work and detox modalities such as saunas, castor oil packs, and other external therapies. In addition to this, we focus on nervous system regulation and biofeedback. These methods are designed to reduce toxin, infection, and chronic stress levels, allowing the body to regain its ability for self-regulation and respond favorably to brain and body therapies.

Q: Do you work with pregnant or breastfeeding mothers?

A: Although we can initiate the process with an initial consultation and lab work, we refrain from introducing new supplements to pregnant or breastfeeding mothers. This precaution is taken because anything undergoing detoxification may be transmitted to the baby through the placenta or breast milk. Our standard practice is to wait until breastfeeding has concluded before addressing detoxification concerns.

Q: Do you have "one size fits all" protocols for different conditions?

A: No, each protocol is specifically tailored to the needs of that individual. We modify protocols based on the priority of what needs to be addressed at that time. The body often heals in layers, similar to layers of an onion. As the body releases each layer, we listen to its needs as we work toward true health.

Q: Can you do in-person consults?

A: We offer virtual appointments only at this time. We collaborate with clients in North America through Zoom and phone calls.

Q: What age range are your clients?

A: We assist clients ages 14+.

Q: Who are your clients?

A: We work with a wide variety of individuals ranging from active seniors to professional athletes. Most of our clients come from an athletic background and take their health seriously.

Q: I'm worried that I have or may get CTE, how can you help me?

A: As of right now, doctors are unable to officially diagnose a living person with CTE. However, this disease and related brain diseases have been aggressively researched in the last several years and that has left us with enough clues to identify warning signs which allows us to develop prevention and potentially reversal protocols. Much of what we know about CTE is based on trauma. Trauma of the brain, or concussions, are now known to create an electrical storm inside the brain and self-regulation goes haywire. When the brain can't regulate itself a cascade of problems pop up. These problems cause cell dysfunction and the result is eventual cell death, further causing dementia and end of life. The goal is to help the brain get back on track to self-regulation. Removing the interference and disruption from the cells and allowing them to heal is the best opportunity we have to combat CTE and other brain concerns.

Q: What does it mean to open drainage and detox pathways?

A: Before initiating a protocol, it is crucial to ensure the proper functioning of your "detox and drainage pathways." This involves normal bowel function, unimpeded bile flow from the liver, and efficient drainage of lymphatic fluid. If any of these systems are obstructed, you might encounter discomfort during detox or die-off reactions during the protocol. It is essential to optimize these pathways first.

Q: What does detox have to do with brain health?

A: A major portion of brain dysfunction stems from an excessive accumulation of toxins and infections that the body struggles to manage, especially those that can cross the blood-brain barrier. Assisting the body in its cleansing endeavors can often enable it to restore proper function, and we tackle this at the cellular level. We take the steps to address inflammation, enhance drainage and detox pathways, eliminate chronic infections, flush out toxins, and sustain progress, ultimately guiding you back to a state of optimal health!

Q: I've started the Discovery Phase. How do I book my lab tests?

A: Excellent question. There are guides and videos in our resource library in your Client Portal. Login here. In addition, you can reach out to your Client Navigator in the Client Portal.
